Mastando Media Announces Foursquare Day in Downtown Daytona Beach

Think Downtown Magazine/Mastando Media is drawing prizes for "check-ins"

Think Downtown Magazine and Mastando Media are celebrating Foursquare Day, April 16, in Downtown Daytona Beach and surrounding areas.  

Foursquare, a popular new social media phone application, has been growing fast in popularity.  Part game, part friend-locator, the site is accessed by your GPS-enabled cell phone, where participants earn badges for "checking-in" to, or visiting, various venues.  Participants can leave tips at  stores ("ask for the 10% Gator Alumni discount"), restaurants ("try the Italian Panini, it's delicious!") and virtually any place you can imagine ("the new arcade is awesome, and the waterpark is great for kids and adults of all ages!").  

During the day-long event, check-ins at participation locations qualify you for drawings for various prizes, like Museum of Arts and Sciences tickets, Daytona Lagoon Family Fun Center passes, food and drink prizes from various restaurants, and more.  Some locations are also doing free giveaways for just for visiting their locations that day.
